Hidden and idle tabs stop the clock.
Antics pauses attention timing when a tab is hidden or idle. An open tab that nobody is reading does not keep the path warm.
Raw duration is how long the tab stayed open. Antics Attention is the modeled reading time after those pauses. Compare both when a long dwell looks busy and the reading time does not.
The collector builds a daily pseudonymous visitor bucket on the server from a random midnight-discarded salt, site, user agent, and IP address. Analytics events do not store the raw IP address. The tracker sets no cookies and writes no browser storage. It does not use canvas, font, or WebGL probing.
