Releases
Antics treats a deploy as a question: did traffic, reading time, errors, events, or page speed change after you shipped?
Markers
Add a marker from Dashboard > Alerts. Give it a kind (deploy, release, or note), a title, and the time it happened. Markers appear on the overview chart and on the broken-route view so you can line a traffic or 404 shift up with a ship.
Use a short, specific title such as the git tag or the docs deploy name. The marker is a label on the timeline, not a separate data store.
Changepoints
Dashboard > Changepoints looks for shifts in Antics Attention, raw duration, pageviews, visitors, bounce rate, LCP, or INP. It does not need a marker: it reports where the series itself changed and by how much.
Use changepoints when you want the data to point at a date, then confirm it against a marker or a known ship.
Impact
Dashboard > Impact compares a window before a marker with a window after it, for the same metrics as changepoints. Pick the marker, choose the pre and post lengths, and read the direction and size of the change.
Pair impact with paths and 404s when a release also moves routes around. Custom events on the Events page show whether the instrumented outcomes still arrive. Paths
